Lenten Book Read
We are looking forward to spending time together with a new book during the Lent season. Starting in March, we will read Turning Over Tables: A Lenten Call for Disrupting Power by Kathy Escobar, which can be purchased on Amazon. If you are interested in participating, please see the schedule below. All are welcome to join. Our book studies are always enjoyable, enlightening, and thought-provoking. Below is the schedule:
March 11: Pages 1 – 21 ENTER and OPEN
March 18: No meeting this week due to Spring Break
March 25: Pages 23 – 58 REVEAL and LAMENT
April 1: Pages 59 – 75 REPENT
April 8: Pages 77 – 92 DISRUPT
April 15: Pages 111 – 125 ILLUMINATE
April 22: Pages 127 – 134 EMBODY and SUSTAIN
Once you get the book, you will see that there is a short intro for each week’s section, and then there are daily readings.
I know this is a lot of meetings, but also hope you know you are welcome to any and all you are able to attend! It is ok to miss if needed.
