Welcome
Please join us to live in community. At 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, we worship, give thanks and remind ourselves to live as Christ’s followers in the world. The sanctuary is filled with undeniable warmth. We place great importance on the needs of God’s people beyond our front door. The church participates in community mission work and supplies direct outreach to the less fortunate through our Food Pantry. Every person has an impact and is appreciated. We are a small church filled with spirit. Our doors are always open and we welcome all visitors. We would love you to accompany us as we continue to make a difference.
Pastor Emily Owen
Emily graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2008. She then served in North Carolina for several years. Emily met her husband Henry at John Knox Ranch while in high school. During her time in North Carolina, they welcomed two wonderful boys. Following, she did a yearlong residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at the Texas Medical Center in Houston and was hired as a Staff Chaplain afterwards. In December 2018, she began a new adventure when her husband accepted the position of Director of John Knox Ranch. They relocated to the ranch’s beautiful 300-acre property just outside of Wimberley. Emily loves to read, be outdoors, paint and do pottery.

We have a dedicated and excited team filled with passion who serve on Session to further the vision of the church. Each are uniquely gifted for the ministry they steward. Our group give of their time and talents freely.
